The two men then hijack a taxi, with an unsuspecting passenger in the trunk, and demand the driver, Manuel, to head towards the border with France.

Meanwhile, they find themselves in a remote village called Zugarramurdi, where they encounter a group of cannibalistic witches led by Graciana. Sergio almost becomes a meal for the witches, but they manage to flee only to be captured later on.

Silvia locates the witches’ hideout and seeks help from the police to rescue her son and the others. Amidst the chaos, José, Antonio, and Manuel manage to escape, leaving Silvia behind. Only José escapes momentarily, thanks to Graciana’s daughter Eva, who takes a liking to him.

With Eva’s assistance, José maneuvers through the witches’ lair to save his son and the others. Along the way, they free Eva from her confinement, revealing her treacherous past with her mother. In a climactic showdown, the group witnesses a terrifying ritual involving the burning of their captors and the summoning of a ghastly goddess by Graciana.
