Weirdsville Movie Plot: A Night of Unexpected Events

Beginning of Chaos in Weedsville

Nothing much happens in the lives of 20-something pals Dexter and Royce except for getting high and hanging out with Royce’s girlfriend, Matilda (“Mattie”). This all changes one evening in Northern Ontario town Weedsville when Mattie overdoses on a stash of Dexter and Royce’s drugs. The drugs were supplied by local drug kingpin and tough-guy Omar to sell and cover their previous debt. Thinking Mattie is dead, the pair decides to bury her in the boiler room of the closed drive-in theater where Royce used to work.

The Satanic Cult Encounter

While the boys dig a grave for Mattie downstairs, a Satanic cult led by another former employee, Abel, enters the supposedly abandoned drive-in theater. They begin a ritual involving pentagrams and human bloodletting in the concession stand. Their aim is to resurrect Jason Taylor, a hippie turned rich Internet entrepreneur, out of his coma. When Dexter interrupts the sacrifice, chaos ensues.

The Escape and Heist Plan

Dexter and Royce are captured, but when some of the follower’s blood “awakens” Mattie, an all-out chase begins. The trio manages to escape and stow Mattie safely in Dexter’s apartment. However, they encounter Omar and his sidekick Garry, who demand payment of the debt with interest by last call. Dexter and Royce decide to break into Jason Taylor’s safe, as Mattie knows the combination, to obtain the money.

The Chase and Unexpected Allies

During their heist, Dexter and Royce face unexpected challenges, such as encountering Taylor’s nephew and getting high accidentally. After successfully stealing the safe, they have a car chase with Abel and seek refuge in a mall where they meet a midget security guard named Martin. Martin helps them escape without trouble due to his own issues with cults.

The Climactic Showdown

Meanwhile, at the New Age Resource Centre, Mattie is tied to an upside-down cross alongside an unconscious Jason Taylor by Abel. Dexter and Royce arrive to stop the ritual and save Mattie. Omar also arrives to collect his debt, leading to a confrontation with an armed Gary. As they chase Abel and his cult, Martin and his friends unintentionally crash into Dexter’s car, causing the safe to crush Abel.

Resolution and Conclusion

With Abel defeated and Taylor’s life saved, Dexter and Royce receive Taylor’s approval to use the money in the safe to clear their debt with Omar.
