Plot Summary

In 1986, Dr. Scott McKenzie (William Devane) is a college professor with a passion for the Old West. Following a personal tragedy, McKenzie dives into the world of Wild West memorabilia with his friend General Joe Brodsky (John Ratzenberger). During an auction, they acquire a pair of steamer trunks with a mysterious past, setting off a chain of events that reveal time travel and a dangerous mission to save history.
