Mirko’s boyfriend, Radmilo, a veterinarian, prefers to keep a low profile. Despite their efforts to live discreetly, they face discrimination and abuse from the homophobic society. In parallel, we meet Limun, a tough war veteran involved in criminal activities, and his girlfriend, Biserka.

Unexpected Connections and Conflict

When Radmilo saves Limun’s injured dog, it sparks a series of events that lead to a fateful meeting between the two couples. Tensions rise as Limun’s violent and homophobic nature surfaces, pushing Mirko to make a life-changing decision. Biserka cuts ties with Limun and reaches out to Mirko to apologize.

Radmilo seizes the opportunity to negotiate with Limun for his services in exchange for security at the pride parade. Reluctantly, Limun agrees, but faces opposition from his staff and community. To ensure protection for the parade, Limun seeks help from former wartime adversaries across the region.

Unity and Triumph in Diversity

Despite facing challenges and setbacks, the group perseveres. Training sessions, bribery attempts, and confrontations with the police and skinheads test their determination. In a climactic showdown, the activists are brutally attacked, leading to a tragic loss. However, their bravery and resilience pave the way for a successful parade the following year, protected by a united front.
