In the late 19th century, Don Gallico, a master of disguise and inventor of stage-magic effects, aspires to become a star magician under the stage name Gallico the Great. His journey takes a dark turn as he navigates the world of magic and betrayal in The Mad Magician Full Movie.
Disguised as The Great Rinaldi, a headlining rival magician, Gallico performs his first magic show, showcasing his latest illusion, the buzz-saw. However, the performance is abruptly interrupted when businessman Ross Ormond and his lawyer serve Gallico a cease and desist order against the buzz-saw trick. Gallico had signed a contract with Ormond’s Illusions, Inc., which granted Ormond ownership of all work created by Gallico, not just the tricks produced for the company. This misunderstanding sets the stage for a dramatic confrontation.

In a heated argument at Gallico’s workspace in the Illusions, Inc. warehouse, tensions rise as Gallico confronts Ormond about the timing of the cease and desist order. Gallico accuses Ormond of using his power to humiliate him publicly and financially. The argument escalates, and in a fit of rage, Gallico decapitates Ormond with the very buzz-saw trick that caused the conflict. He places Ormond’s severed head in a bag, which is mistakenly taken by his assistant, Karen Lee, when she visits her boyfriend, police detective Lt. Alan Bruce.
Unbeknownst to Gallico, the bag is left in a hansom cab, and the cab driver turns it over to the police. Gallico cleverly allows the police to believe the bag belongs to Lee while telling her it contained a dummy head.
Gallico, now impersonating Ormond, rents an apartment from Alice Prentiss, a mystery novelist. During their conversation, Prentiss mentions a bonfire celebration for a local sports team’s victory. Seizing the opportunity, Gallico disguises Ormond’s body as a dummy and adds it to the bonfire. However, the skeletal remains of Ormond are later discovered in the ashes, leading to a deeper investigation.
Claire, Ormond’s wife, begins searching for her missing husband and learns about the rented apartment. When she confronts Gallico, she recognizes him through his disguise and deduces that he murdered Ormond. In a desperate attempt to silence her, Gallico strangles Claire and flees the scene just before Prentiss arrives in response to her screams.
With Prentiss confirming Ormond’s presence in the room where Claire was killed, and the fingerprints on her throat matching those left by Gallico, the police conclude that Ormond is the killer. However, Rinaldi, who is aware of the truth, hints to the police that they cannot be certain about the fingerprints.
Gallico invites the Prentisses to a preview performance of his new illusion, The Crematorium, where he appears to be incinerated in a fiery furnace. After the show, the Great Rinaldi confronts Gallico, revealing that he has deduced the truth about Claire’s murder and blackmails him for the use of all Gallico’s future illusions in his act. In a desperate act to protect his secrets, Gallico murders Rinaldi and incinerates his remains in The Crematorium.
To cover up Rinaldi’s disappearance, Gallico impersonates him and takes over his tour. Meanwhile, Lt. Alan Bruce becomes suspicious of Gallico’s actions and tries to obtain fingerprints from other persons of interest. However, Gallico, still disguised as Rinaldi, refuses to cooperate.
As Prentiss reflects on the crime scene, she subconsciously recognizes similarities between Gallico and “Ormond.” She shares her theory with Bruce, leading them to break into Gallico’s workspace to obtain his fingerprints. Just as they are about to leave, Gallico returns, knocking Bruce out and loading him onto The Crematorium.
In a twist of fate, Prentiss calls out to Lee for help. Lee distracts Gallico long enough for Prentiss to free Bruce from his bonds. A struggle ensues, and in a dramatic turn of events, Bruce inadvertently knocks Gallico into The Crematorium, where he meets his fiery end.
