John “Hannibal” Smith finds himself held captive in Mexico by corrupt Federal Police officers working for renegade General Javier Tuco. He escapes to rescue his friend Templeton “Face” Peck, also held captive at Tuco’s ranch. Hannibal enlists former Ranger B.A. Baracus and, with B.A.’s modified GMC Vandura, sets out to save Face.

The Rescue Mission

Pursued by Tuco, the team stops at an Army hospital to recruit pilot H.M. “Howling Mad” Murdock. Fleeing in a medical helicopter, they engage in a dogfight with Tuco. Luring him into American airspace, they cause his helicopter to be shot down by a fighter jet, ending Tuco’s threat.

A New Mission

Eight years later in Iraq, CIA operative Lynch contacts Hannibal to recover U.S. Treasury plates and cash. Despite warnings from Face’s girlfriend, Captain Sosa, the team proceeds. The mission is successful, but they face betrayal and are court-martialed, sentenced to prison, and dishonorably discharged.
