The Ice Harvest Watch Free: A Thrilling Christmas Eve Tale

On a chilling Christmas Eve in Wichita, Kansas, lawyer Charlie Arglist and pornographer Vic Cavanaugh find themselves entangled in a web of crime and deception after stealing $2 million from their boss, the notorious mobster Bill Guerrard. Their plans for a swift getaway are thwarted by treacherous icy roads, forcing them to delay their escape. With Vic holding the cash, they split up, waiting for the weather to clear.

Charlie’s Temptation at Sweet Cage

Charlie decides to visit Sweet Cage, a local strip club owned by Vic and managed by the alluring Renata Crest, a woman Charlie has long desired. Renata quickly senses that Charlie is hiding something and, intrigued by his hints about the stolen money, suggests they run away together. Seizing the opportunity, she asks Charlie to steal an incriminating photo of herself with a local politician from Vic.

The Heist at Tease-O-Rama

After confiding in his friend Sidney, a bartender and bouncer at Sweet Cage, Charlie heads to another of Vic’s establishments, the Tease-O-Rama. There, he successfully retrieves the photo from a safe. However, his escape is interrupted when Roy Gelles, one of Guerrard’s enforcers, arrives looking for him. Charlie narrowly avoids capture by hiding in the men’s restroom, where he overhears Roy reading a graffito scrawled in red sharpie: “As Wichita falls, so falls Wichita Falls.”

Once Gelles leaves, Charlie heads to a nearby restaurant/bar, where he unexpectedly runs into his friend Pete, who is married to Charlie’s cold ex-wife, Sarabeth. Pete, inebriated, insists on tagging along with Charlie until he passes out. Charlie then makes a call to Vic from a pay phone, noticing the same sharpie graffito above the phone. He warns Vic about Gelles being in town, but Vic dismisses the concern, citing Gelles’ family ties in Wichita.

Confrontations and Betrayals

Returning to Sweet Cage, Charlie hands Renata the stolen photo. She informs him that Vic had called to warn him about Gelles tailing them. After taking Pete home, where Pete vomits in Charlie’s car and passes out on the living room floor, Charlie “borrows” a Mercedes Benz that Pete had purchased for Sarabeth and heads to Vic’s house. There, he discovers Vic’s wife shot dead next to their Christmas tree. Vic arrives, revealing he has locked Roy in a trunk, and they decide to take both Roy and Vic’s wife in the Mercedes to a nearby lake.

As they drive, Roy yells from the trunk, accusing Vic of murdering his wife. Frustrated, Vic shoots the trunk to silence him. When they reach the lake dock, chaos ensues as Gelles shoots open the trunk, injuring Vic in the process. A standoff leads to Roy’s death and Vic falling into the frozen lake as the dock collapses. Realizing Vic’s intention to kill him, Charlie drags Vic’s wife to the dock and slides her into the lake, submerging the pleading Vic underwater. When Charlie discovers the money is missing from Vic’s bag, he rushes back to save Vic, but it’s too late; Vic has drowned, entangled with his deceased wife.

The Final Showdown with Guerrard

Upon returning to Sweet Cage, Charlie is confronted by Guerrard himself, who has taken Renata hostage. A fierce struggle ensues, resulting in Charlie being stabbed in the foot and Guerrard meeting his demise. Afterward, Charlie and Renata retreat to her place, where he uncovers the hidden money in her closet while she showers. It becomes clear that Vic and Renata had plotted to escape together after eliminating Charlie. As Renata attempts to seduce him, Charlie shoots her before she can use a hidden straight razor to attack.

Charlie’s Escape and Revelation

With the stolen money in hand, Charlie drives out of town but encounters Sidney on the roadside, stranded with his kids in a motor home. Offering assistance, Charlie allows Sidney to siphon gas from the “borrowed” Mercedes. As Sidney tries to start the RV, Charlie takes out a red sharpie and writes the graffito, “As Wichita falls, so falls Wichita Falls,” on the back of the motor home, revealing that he was the one behind the mysterious writing all along. After a brief mishap where Sidney accidentally knocks Charlie down, he drives away in the RV.

Charlie gets back into the Mercedes, where Pete has finally woken up. Together, they drive off into the horizon, seeking warmer weather and leaving behind the chaos
