A crazed drug addict named Skeletor expresses his desires for a “purge” to unleash his hatred during a conversation with an NFFA employee.

The Experiment

Two years later, NFFA chief of staff Arlo Sabian and sociologist Dr. May Updale announce an experiment on Staten Island. Citizens will have 12 hours to release their inhibitions freely, including murder. Residents are offered $5,000 to participate and are closely monitored with contact lens cameras and tracking devices.

A City in Chaos

Gang boss Dmitri Cimber decides to stay on the island during the purge to avoid drawing attention to his illegal activities. His associates, however, face danger as they navigate the chaotic streets. Meanwhile, Nya, an anti-Purge activist, cares for her injured brother and shelters with friends in a church.
