Leigh Michaels moves from New York City to Los Angeles and starts directing live television. She rents an apartment in a high-rise building and befriends Sophie, a co-director, and is pursued by Steve, another director. When Leigh receives an anonymous call at work and finds her apartment unlocked, she suspects a worker forgot to lock it.

Leigh is unsettled by the anonymous calls, lights dimming, and odd occurrences in her apartment. She receives a letter from “Excursions Unlimited” offering a free vacation to Europe. She meets Paul Winkless at a bar and starts getting anonymous gifts, including a telescope and swimsuit.

Suspicious Events
