In the enchanting kingdom of Charak, a grand celebration unfolds for the coronation of Prince Kassim. However, the festivities take a dark turn when Kassim’s malevolent stepmother, Zenobia, casts a curse upon him just as he is about to be crowned Caliph. This sets the stage for an epic journey filled with danger and magic.

The Arrival of Sinbad: A Hero’s Quest

Some time later, Sinbad, the brave sailor and Prince of Baghdad, arrives in Charak with a noble intention: to seek permission from Prince Kassim to marry his sister, Princess Farah. However, upon his arrival, he discovers that the city is under a strict curfew due to the curse that has befallen Kassim. Sinbad and his loyal crew are welcomed by a man named Rafi, who, unbeknownst to them, is Zenobia’s son.

During their meal, tragedy strikes when one of Sinbad’s crew members is poisoned, and Rafi leads an attack against them. In a fierce battle, Sinbad manages to defeat Rafi, but Zenobia retaliates by summoning a trio of ghouls to attack Sinbad and his men. With quick thinking and bravery, Sinbad crushes the ghouls under a pile of massive logs, showcasing his strength and determination.

The Quest for the Cure: Seeking the Alchemist

After the battle, Sinbad meets with Princess Farah, who reveals that Kassim’s curse is indeed a spell cast by Zenobia. She explains that if Kassim is not cured within seven moons, Rafi will ascend to the throne as Caliph. Determined to save Kassim, Sinbad, Farah, and their crew embark on a perilous journey to find Melanthius, an old Greek alchemist rumored to possess the knowledge to break curses. Farah brings along a gigantic prehistoric baboon, who is actually Kassim transformed by Zenobia’s dark magic.

As they set sail, Zenobia and Rafi follow them in a boat powered by the Minoton, a magical bronze automaton resembling a minotaur, adding to the tension of their quest.

Discovering Melanthius: The Path to Hyperborea

Upon reaching the island of Casgar, Sinbad and Farah find Melanthius and his daughter Dione, who agree to assist them in their quest. Melanthius reveals that they must travel to the ancient land of Hyperborea, where the Arimaspi civilization once thrived. During their journey, Kassim develops a bond with Dione, adding a touch of romance to their adventure.

The Battle Against the Walrus: Trials in the Arctic

After a long voyage, Sinbad’s ship reaches the icy polar wastelands. The crew treks across the treacherous ice to reach the land of the Arimaspi, but they are soon confronted by a giant walrus that wreaks havoc on their supplies and claims the lives of two crew members. Sinbad and his men bravely fend off the creature, showcasing their resilience.

Zenobia, using an ice tunnel, reaches the Arimaspi first, but her lack of a key prevents her from entering the sacred shrine. In a desperate move, she commands the Minoton to remove a stone block from the pyramid’s wall, leading to disastrous consequences.

The Encounter with the Troglodyte: Allies in the Valley

Sinbad and his crew eventually arrive at the valley and encounter a friendly troglodyte, a towering, fur-covered being with a single horn. They name him Trog, and he guides them to the giant pyramidal shrine of the Arimaspi. However, Zenobia and Rafi arrive first, and chaos ensues as Zenobia attempts to force her way inside.

Inside the shrine, they face the Guardian, a smilodon frozen in ice. Zenobia’s plans unravel as she orders Rafi to attack Melanthius, leading to a tragic confrontation that results in Rafi’s demise. In a moment of grief, Zenobia cradles her son, but the situation escalates as Sinbad and Melanthius work to break Kassim’s curse.
