The story of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Full Movie begins with Dastan, a courageous street urchin in ancient Persia. His bravery catches the eye of King Sharaman, who adopts him into the royal family. This pivotal moment sets the stage for an epic journey filled with intrigue, betrayal, and the quest for redemption.
Fifteen years later, the plot thickens as King Sharaman’s brother, Nizam, presents evidence to the princes—Dastan, along with the king’s biological sons, Tus and Garsiv—that the holy city of Alamut is allegedly forging weapons for Persia’s enemies. Under the command of Tus, the Persian army launches an attack on Alamut, leading to a fierce battle. During the chaos, Dastan defeats a royal guard and acquires a sacred dagger, a significant artifact that plays a crucial role in the unfolding events.
After the fall of Alamut, Princess Tamina insists that the city does not possess any weapon forges. In a bid to unite their nations, Tus proposes marriage to her, which she reluctantly accepts upon seeing the dagger in Dastan’s possession. However, during a celebratory banquet, tragedy strikes when Tus presents their father with an embroidered robe that is poisoned, leading to King Sharaman’s untimely death. In the wake of this tragedy, Garsiv accuses Dastan of murder, forcing him to flee with Tamina as a bounty is placed on his head.
While in hiding, Tamina attempts to kill Dastan and seize the dagger, but during their struggle, Dastan discovers the dagger’s extraordinary power: the ability to travel back in time. Convinced that Tus invaded Alamut to obtain the dagger, Dastan resolves to confront his brother. Their journey takes a dangerous turn when they are captured by merchant-bandits led by Sheik Amar, who seeks the reward for Dastan’s capture. However, they manage to escape, continuing their quest for the truth.
Upon reaching Avrat, Dastan tries to convince Nizam of his innocence. However, he notices burns on Nizam’s hands, leading him to realize that Nizam orchestrated the king’s murder. Once again, Dastan is forced to flee as Nizam sends the Hassansins, a group of covert assassins, to eliminate him and retrieve the dagger.
Tamina reveals to Dastan the ancient legend of the Sands of Time. Long ago, the gods unleashed a devastating sandstorm to destroy humanity, but a young girl offered to sacrifice herself to save mankind. In response, the gods trapped the Sands of Time within a large sandglass. Tamina, as the latest guardian of the dagger, explains that it can pierce the sandglass and potentially bring about the world’s destruction. Nizam’s ambition is to travel back in time to prevent himself from saving Sharaman, thereby usurping the throne of Persia.
After another capture by Amar, Dastan saves Amar’s men from a Hassansin attack using the dagger’s powers. This act of bravery convinces Amar to assist Dastan and Tamina in their quest. They journey to a sanctuary near the Hindu Kush, where Tamina plans to seal the dagger within the stone from which it originated. However, their plans are thwarted when Garsiv arrives, and despite Dastan’s attempts to prove his innocence, the Hassansins ambush them, resulting in Garsiv’s death and the theft of the dagger.
Determined to reclaim the dagger and warn Tus about Nizam’s treachery, Dastan’s group returns to Alamut. Amar’s loyal companion, Seso, sacrifices himself to retrieve the dagger for Dastan, who then demonstrates its powers to Tus, convincing him of the truth. However, Nizam interrupts their reunion, kills Tus, and reclaims the dagger. In a desperate bid for survival, Tamina saves Dastan from Nizam’s wrath, and they flee to the secret tunnels beneath the city that lead to the sandglass.
In a climactic showdown, Dastan confronts Nizam, who stabs him and throws him off a cliff. In a moment
