Experience the Thrilling Adventure of Posse Full Movie Free

In the year 1898, a group of convicted prisoners from the U.S. Army’s 10th Cavalry Regiment, known as the Buffalo Soldiers, find themselves conscripted to fight in the Spanish–American War in Cuba. Led by the courageous Jesse Lee, portrayed by Mario Van Peebles, this segregated African-American unit faces relentless attacks from enemy troops. As the situation becomes dire, Jesse makes a desperate run back to the command post of the corrupt Colonel Graham, played by Billy Zane, to plead for the 10th Cavalry’s retreat.

Colonel Graham’s Corruption and the Fight for Survival

Colonel Graham, embodying the racism of the era, orders Jesse to execute a White prisoner in exchange for allowing the 10th to pull back. In a display of remarkable marksmanship, Jesse refuses to kill the man but instead shoots the cigar from his mouth. This act of defiance leads to the Colonel killing the prisoner under the pretense of desertion. Subsequently, Jesse’s command of the 10th is handed over to Little J, a White prisoner played by Stephen Baldwin, as the alternative is facing a firing squad.

With the 10th Cavalry ordered to wear civilian clothing for a new mission, they are tasked with robbing a Spanish gold shipment. This mission is a trap designed to provide Colonel Graham with an excuse to execute the entire unit as deserters. However, with the help of his aide Weezie, Jesse and the remaining soldiers manage to turn the tables, shooting down Colonel Graham and his cavalry.

Escaping to New Orleans: A New Chapter Begins

Believing Colonel Graham and his troops to be dead, the remnants of the 10th, including Jesse, Obobo, Angel, and Little J, escape Cuba and make their way to New Orleans. Upon arrival, Little J encounters a gambler named Father Time, played by Big Daddy Kane, and they engage in a game of poker. When Father Time is caught cheating, Little J helps him escape, warning their group, “We were never here,” fearing retaliation from vengeful gamblers.

The Pursuit of Justice: The Posse Heads West

The newly formed “posse” embarks on a journey West, with Colonel Graham hot on their trail. They stop in a town where Jesse has custom-made ammunition crafted from gold, a symbolic act to confront the demons of his past. This ammunition is used to kill the man responsible for his father’s lynching, King David. The posse eventually arrives in Freemanville, a town founded by King David and populated entirely by African-Americans.

In Freemanville, Jesse reunites with old friends, including Carver, the town’s sheriff. However, trouble brews when Sheriff Bates, a former lyncher of King David, threatens to burn the town unless Jesse is handed over. That night, Bates and his men attack Freemanville, leading to a brutal confrontation where Little J is killed while defending Weezie.

Rescue and Revenge: The Fight for Freemanville

Jesse and Father Time devise a plan to rescue their captured friends by disguising themselves as Ku Klux Klan members and storming the jail in Cutterstown. In a fierce battle, Jesse confronts one of King David’s murderers, and chaos ensues when Bates arrives, resulting in the death of the mayor. Colonel Graham aligns himself with Bates, further complicating the situation.

Upon Jesse’s return, he rallies the townspeople to fight back against Sheriff Bates, revealing the sheriff’s ulterior motives to seize the land for profit. The citizens of Freemanville rise up, but just as they gain the upper hand, Colonel Graham arrives with a Gatling gun, wreaking havoc on the crowd. In a heroic act, Jesse charges the gun with dynamite, destroying it and killing several of Graham’s troops.

Climactic Showdown: The Final Confrontation

As the battle rages on, Carver attempts to flee with the deeds to Freemanville but is confronted by Papa Joe’s daughter, Lana. Father Time intervenes, but in the ensuing struggle, he is killed by Carver. Just as Carver is about to escape, he is betrayed and murdered by Bates, leading to a final showdown between Jesse and Bates. Jesse emerges victorious, finally confronting his past and avenging his father’s death.
