Parasite Watch Free: A Gripping Tale of Class Struggle

The story of “Parasite” unfolds in the bustling city of Seoul, where the Kim family resides in a cramped semi-basement flat, known as a banjiha. Struggling to make ends meet with low-income jobs, their lives take a turn when a university student named Min-hyuk gifts them a scholar’s rock, symbolizing wealth and prosperity. As he departs to study abroad, he suggests that Ki-woo, the Kims’ son, pose as a university student to secure a job as an English tutor for Da-hye, the daughter of the affluent Park family.

Deception and Opportunity: The Kim Family’s Scheme

With the help of his sister Ki-jung, who skillfully creates a fake university certificate using Photoshop, Ki-woo successfully lands the tutoring position with the Parks. The Kims quickly devise a plan to infiltrate the Park household, each member aiming to secure a job. Ki-woo recommends “Jessica,” who is actually Ki-jung, as an art therapist for the Parks’ young son, Da-song, who has been traumatized by a ghostly encounter in their kitchen.

As the Kims continue their elaborate deception, Ki-jung frames Yoon, the Parks’ chauffeur, by making it seem he had a scandalous encounter in the car. She then recommends her father, Ki-taek, to take Yoon’s place as the new chauffeur. The Kims exploit the peach allergy of the Parks’ longtime housekeeper, Moon-gwang, convincing Mrs. Park that she has tuberculosis, leading to Chung-sook, the Kim matriarch, being hired as her replacement. Meanwhile, Ki-woo begins a secret romantic relationship with Da-hye, further entangling their lives.

The Dark Secrets Beneath: A Hidden Bunker

When the Parks embark on a camping trip, the Kims indulge in the luxuries of their home. However, their revelry is interrupted when Moon-gwang unexpectedly arrives, claiming she left something in the basement. She discovers a hidden entrance to an underground bunker, a secret left by the architect and previous homeowner. Inside, it is revealed that Moon-gwang’s husband, Geun-sae, has been living in the bunker, hiding from loan sharks and is the “ghost” Da-song had seen.

Chung-sook refuses Moon-gwang’s request to allow Geun-sae to stay in the bunker in exchange for regular payments. In a twist of fate, the Kims accidentally reveal their connection to one another, leading to Moon-gwang filming them on her phone, threatening to expose their deception to the Parks.

Chaos Unleashed: The Return of the Parks

As the Parks call to inform the Kims of their early return due to a severe rainstorm, panic ensues. The Kims quickly subdue Moon-gwang and Geun-sae, hiding them in the bunker. Ki-jung, Ki-taek, and Ki-woo take cover under a table, overhearing Mr. Park’s derogatory comments about Ki-taek’s odor, which he associates with lower-class individuals. Although the Kims manage to escape, their flat is flooded with sewer water, forcing them to seek refuge in a gymnasium with other displaced families.

A Birthday Party Turned Tragic

The following day, Mrs. Park hosts a garden party for Da-song’s birthday, attempting to compensate for the failed camping trip. The elder Kims assist in the preparations while the younger Kims are invited as guests. In a shocking turn of events, Ki-woo enters the bunker with the scholar’s rock, intending to confront Geun-sae and Moon-gwang. However, he finds Moon-gwang already dead from a previous altercation. Geun-sae attacks Ki-woo, knocking him unconscious with the rock, leaving him in a pool of blood.

In the ensuing chaos, Geun-sae fatally stabs Ki-jung in front of horrified guests, causing Da-song to have another seizure. A struggle ensues between Geun-sae and Chung-sook, resulting in her fatally impaling him with a barbecue skewer. As Ki-taek tends to Ki-jung, Mr. Park orders him to drive Da-song to the hospital. In a moment of rage, Ki-taek kills Mr. Park after witnessing his disgusted reaction to Geun-sae’s odor, then flees the scene.
