Truck driver Jack Willis, a man from rural Australia, unexpectedly finds success as an author with his bestselling novel. However, to keep his identity hidden, he uses the name “Ruby Vale,” which happens to be the name of his dear friend. When a publisher named Ziggy offers to sign the mysterious author “Ruby Vale,” Jack is thrust into a difficult situation.
