Plot Summary

After their boss is killed during a bank robbery, London gangsters Brian Hope and Charlie McManus desire to lead more peaceful lives in Brazil. Disapproving of their new younger and more brash boss, Casey, they plan to rob a local Triad gang of their ill-gotten drug money. During the robbery, Brian falls in love with a waitress named Faith, leading to a series of betrayals and dangerous encounters.

Disguise as Nuns

To escape the authorities, Brian and Charlie disguise themselves as nuns and take refuge in a nearby nunnery. With the help of Sister Superior Liz, they adopt new identities as Sisters Inviolata and Euphemia. Faith, determined to follow Brian, also infiltrates the nunnery but faces challenges when her gunshot wound is discovered.

Escape to Brazil

As tensions rise and the Triads close in, Brian and Charlie must navigate a complex web of lies and deceit. Ultimately, they make a daring escape to the airport with Faith in tow. Through a series of comedic mishaps and heartfelt moments, they board a flight to Brazil, evading capture and starting anew.
