Nishi, a 20-year-old NEET from Osaka, dreams of becoming a comic book artist. His life takes a dramatic turn one evening when he unexpectedly encounters his childhood crush, Myon, on the subway. This chance meeting leads him to her family’s yakitori restaurant, where he meets her father, elder sister Yan, and her fiancé Ryo.

Confrontation at the Yakitori Restaurant

As the evening unfolds, two yakuza members, Atsu and his senior, known as Aniki, enter the restaurant looking for Myon’s father. They accuse him of seducing and stealing Atsu’s girlfriend, leading to a tense confrontation. The situation escalates when Atsu threatens Myon at gunpoint. Ryo bravely jumps to her defense, but Atsu quickly knocks him unconscious.

As the water level inside the whale begins to rise, the old man warns them that the whale is likely dying. They devise a plan to create a motorboat using spare parts and fuel from the car they arrived in. On the eve of the World Cup final, the whale returns to Osaka, and the four manage to escape.
