During the skydive, Bulk and Skull miss the landing zone and stumble upon a construction site where a giant purple egg is discovered. Zordon summons the Rangers, warning about Ivan Ooze, a morphological being who reigned on Earth 6,000 years ago.

A Dangerous Quest

Lord Zedd, Rita Repulsa, Goldar, and Mordant open the egg, releasing Ivan Ooze who attacks the Rangers. Ivan wreaks havoc, sieging the Command Center and depriving the Rangers of their powers. The only hope lies in a quest to the distant planet Phaedos to seek the Great Power and save Zordon.

The Battle for Power

The Rangers face challenges on Phaedos, awakening their animal spirits with Dulcea’s help. With newfound abilities, they retrieve the Great Power and return to face Ivan’s destructive plans on Earth.

The Ultimate Showdown

The Rangers, armed with Ninja Zords, battle Ivan’s Ecto-Morphicons, saving Angel Grove from destruction. The final confrontation sees the Rangers defeating Ivan, breaking his hold over the parents, and restoring peace to the city.

A Hopeful Conclusion

As the Power Rangers celebrate their victory, they mourn Zordon’s apparent death. However, using the Great Power, they restore the Command Center and bring Zordon back, ensuring peace once again in Angel Grove.
