Midnight Madness: A Thrilling Game Adventure

Graduate student Leon (Alan Solomon) invites five college students to his apartment to participate in his latest creation, The Great All-Nighter. The challenge begins when he tasks them with forming teams for an all-night game.

The Great All-Nighter Game

Initially, the team leaders are reluctant to join in, but as rivalries ignite, all five eventually change their minds before the game kicks off. Leon, the game master, meticulously tracks the teams’ progress using a giant map and radio equipment.

Subplots and Challenges

Subplots unfold as three additional teams embark on their own adventures, while tensions rise at Leon’s apartment (called “Game Control”). Alongside his assistants Candy and Sunshine (Debi Richter and Kirsten Baker), Leon faces eviction threats from his landlady, Mrs. Grimhaus (Irene Tedrow), due to the game’s commotion.

Despite initial complaints from other tenants, they become intrigued by the game mechanics explained by Leon and even assist in running it, much to Grimhaus’s dismay.

The Climactic Race-to-the-Finish

The game reaches its climax with a frantic race to the Westin Bonaventure Hotel, where the yellow team emerges victorious, leading to a grand celebration with all participants and game control.
