Meanwhile, Sayaka Yumi has taken on the role of director at the Photon Research Institute, succeeding her father, Dr. Yumi, who now serves as the Prime Minister of Japan. Tetsuya Tsurugi, the pilot of Great Mazinger, remains in the military and is happily married to Jun Hono, eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child. Koji’s younger brother, Shiro, also serves as a pilot in the military’s mecha division.

The Discovery of Infinity

During the construction of the institute’s new facility, a remarkable discovery is made as a colossal robot is uncovered beneath Mt. Fuji, later named Infinity. When Koji ventures to investigate, a young girl named Lisa emerges from within the robot. Serving as the primary control unit, Lisa is a 91% organic artificial intelligence with the capacity for emotion. However, their newfound peace is threatened when the presumed deceased Dr. Hell stages an attack on the institute with a fresh army of Mechanical Beasts, accompanied by his allies Baron Ashura and Count Brocken. Dr. Hell seizes control of Infinity, utilizing Tetsuya and Great Mazinger to activate the robot in the absence of Lisa.

The Final Confrontation

In a desperate attempt to combat Dr. Hell’s forces, Dr. Nossori and Dr. Sewashi utilize a colossal photonic energy 3D Printer to repair and enhance the original Mazinger Z, concealed within the former Photon Research Institute. In a surreal turn of events, Koji finds himself in an alternate dimension where Lisa exists as the daughter of himself and Sayaka. Using herself as a conduit, Lisa empowers Mazinger Z with a force equivalent to that of Infinity by converting photonic energy into tangible matter. The inhabitants of the planet unite to channel their photonic energy into Mazinger Z, enabling Koji to deliver a decisive blow to Infinity, catapulting Dr. Hell out of the planet where the robot meets its explosive end. As Lisa vanishes, she assures Koji of their inevitable reunion. Simultaneously, Jun gives birth to her and Tetsuya’s child.
