Just then, Yellow Wolf appears, surprising the sheriff and firing an arrow at the TNT, triggering a massive explosion.

The explosion propels both Gates and the sheriff out of the tunnel and into the waterfall. In a moment of unexpected camaraderie, Gates saves the wounded sheriff, who orders everyone to retreat back to town for medical treatment.
