Journey to the West: The Demons Strike Back Full Movie

The monk Tang Sanzang dreams of becoming a giant and retrieving the Sutra, earning a halo in India as a reward from his master. Upon waking, Tang finds himself in a village of circus performers with his disciples: Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing. Tang encourages Wukong to perform for the villagers, but Wukong refuses, leading to chaos and destruction.

A Maiden’s Deception

While seeking water, Tang encounters spider demons disguised as maidens. Wukong exposes their true form, leading to a battle where Wujing is poisoned, and Wukong defeats the lead demon. Despite his disobedience, Tang continues to show compassion towards Wukong.

The King’s Challenge

Upon entering the Biqiu Kingdom capital, they encounter a childish king who demands entertainment. Wukong’s antics lead to a showdown with the demon Red Boy, resulting in a victory for Wukong and the release of the true king. As a reward, the king offers a maiden named Felicity to accompany them.

The Deception Unveiled

During their journey, Wukong discovers Felicity is a demon, but Tang is initially skeptical. When Felicity reveals her true form as White Bone Spirit, Wukong’s anger leads to a confrontation where he swallows Tang. With the help of Jiu Gong and Red Boy, they expose the true villain behind Felicity’s deception.

A Final Resolution

After defeating the Immortal Golden Vulture, Tang must free Felicity’s soul as she succumbs to her injuries. As they continue their journey, the animosity between Tang and Wukong dissipates, and they, along with Wujing and Bajie, venture towards the West through the Taklamakan Desert.
