Desperate for revenge, a young man enlists the aid of a medium to help him track down his sister's killer.
Country: South Korea
In the intriguing narrative of Inland Empire Full Movie Free, we are introduced to the Lost Girl, a young prostitute who finds herself in a hotel room, crying after a distressing encounter with a client. As she watches a surreal television show featuring anthropomorphic rabbits, the story begins to unfold in a world where reality and fiction intertwine.
Meanwhile, in the bustling city of Los Angeles, actress Nikki Grace auditions for the lead role in the film On High in Blue Tomorrows. Her life takes a turn when a neighbor visits her mansion, sharing an old tale about a boy who crossed into another world, giving birth to an evil that followed him. This tale hints at the dark themes that will permeate the film, as the neighbor insists that the plot involves murder, despite Nikki’s disbelief.
The following day, Nikki celebrates her success in landing the role, with her Polish husband Piotrek by her side. However, the excitement is short-lived as the first rehearsal with lead actor Devon is interrupted by a mysterious disturbance on set. Devon’s investigation yields no answers, leaving the cast and crew unsettled.
Director Kingsley Stewart reveals that they are remaking a German film titled 47, based on a Polish folktale. The production was abandoned after the original leads were murdered, leading to rumors of a curse surrounding the film. As Nikki and Devon begin to film romantic scenes, their professional relationship quickly evolves into an affair, despite Piotrek’s warnings of “dark consequences.”
Nikki’s grip on reality begins to slip as she struggles to distinguish between her life and the film’s narrative. Entering a door marked “Axxon N.” in an alley, she finds herself back on set, causing the earlier disturbance. In a moment of panic, she runs into a prop that transforms into a real house, where she sees Piotrek going to bed. Hiding in a closet, she encounters a group of prostitutes, further blurring the lines between her reality and the film.
As the story progresses, various plotlines intertwine, creating a complex narrative where the chronological order becomes unclear. Scenes shift between modern-day prostitutes and those from the 1930s in Łódź, showcasing Nikki’s troubled marriage with her husband “Smithy.” In another sequence, Nikki, now Sue, confides in a policeman about her traumatic childhood and her husband’s past as a gamekeeper in a traveling circus.
In a pivotal scene, Sue confronts Billy, professing her love, only to be rejected and slapped by his wife, Doris. The narrative takes a dark turn as it is revealed that Doris had been hypnotized by the Phantom to commit murder, leading to a chilling connection between the characters.
Feeling hunted by the Phantom, Nikki/Sue arms herself with a screwdriver. As she walks down Hollywood Boulevard, she encounters her doppelgänger and Doris, culminating in a tragic confrontation where she is stabbed by Doris. Collapsing at a bus stop, Nikki’s fate seems sealed as she listens to strange stories from a homeless woman before succumbing to her injuries.
However, the scene shifts abruptly as Kingsley yells “Cut!” revealing that this was merely a film scene. Kingsley informs Nikki that her scenes are complete, but she remains in a daze, wandering off set and into a nearby cinema. Here, she witnesses not only On High in Blue Tomorrows but also events unfolding in real-time.
Nikki follows a man upstairs to an apartment marked “Axxon N,” where she confronts the Phantom. In a dramatic turn, she shoots him, and he transforms into a grotesque figure before dying. Fleeing into Room 47, she encounters the rabbits from the television show, though she fails to see them, and meets the Lost Girl once more.
