Silas ultimately succeeds, using the last of Ivory’s leaves to counteract nausea, but their low grades still threaten their place at Harvard.

The Alumni Party and a Twist of Fate

Despite their struggles, they receive an unexpected invitation to the Harvard Alumni party from Jamie (Essence Atkins), the daughter of the U.S. vice president. At the party, Silas decides to test his truth serum, which proves successful. Lauren presents her findings on Benjamin Franklin’s artifacts, revealing them to be a bong, much to Dean Cain’s outrage.

In a surprising turn of events, the Chancellor fires Dean Cain for his mishandling of the situation. As the night unfolds, Jamal and Silas celebrate their success, but Dean Cain returns in a fit of rage, attempting to attack them with an axe.
