Timmy Gleason, the son of ex-convict Ray Gleason, has been living with his aunt Kitty and her fiancée Wayne since his mother’s passing. When Kitty leaves for her honeymoon, Timmy is left in the care of his estranged father, Ray, in San Francisco for a week.

Plot Summary

Timmy hopes to bond with his father, but Ray is preoccupied with planning a rare-coin heist with his friends Bobby and Carl. After the successful robbery, Timmy discovers the stolen coins and uses them to blackmail Ray into spending time with him. Father and son engage in various activities together, along with Carl and Bobby.

When Timmy hints to Carl about a map of the coins’ location, it leads to confusion and arrests as Bobby suspects a setup. Detective Theresa Walsh goes undercover to investigate Ray, but she forms a connection with him as they spend time together, posing a challenge to her job duties.

The Turning Point

As Timmy and Ray grow closer, Timmy decides he wants to stay with his father permanently. Despite warnings about the consequences of keeping the stolen coins, Ray initially refuses to give them up. However, a change of heart comes too late as Bobby forces Ray to reveal the coins’ location at gunpoint, leading to their arrest.

With unexpected twists and turns, the truth about the stolen coins is revealed, exonerating Ray and allowing him to take full custody of Timmy. The duo prepares for a fresh start together as a family.
