Gadar 2: A Tale of Vengeance and Family

In 1954, General Hamid Iqbal of the Pakistan Army seeks revenge on Tara Singh for the death of his soldiers during Tara’s escape to India with his wife Sakeena and son Jeete. Iqbal has Sakeena’s father executed for aiding Tara’s escape.

Life in 1971

Tara, now a goods supplier to the Indian Army, lives with Sakeena and Jeete. When a skirmish erupts at the border during the Third Indo-Pak War, Tara is approached by Lt. Colonel Devendra Rawat for weapons supply. However, Iqbal’s interference leads to chaos and captures.

A Son’s Determination

Jeete returns from Chandigarh to find his family in turmoil. Determined to rescue his father, Jeete travels to Pakistan, aided by Gul Khan, a friend of Tara. Upon discovering Tara’s whereabouts, Jeete infiltrates the prison but gets captured himself.

Reunion and Resistance

Meanwhile, Tara resurfaces in Punjab, reuniting with Sakeena. Learning of Jeete’s plight, Tara heads to Pakistan for a daring rescue. Despite challenges and betrayals, Tara and Jeete fight back against Iqbal and his forces, ultimately escaping with their loved ones.

Victory and Reconciliation

As they reach the Indian border, a final showdown ensues. With the support of Rawat and the Indian soldiers, Tara and Jeete overcome Iqbal’s last attempts at revenge. Jeete is granted permission to join the army, and the family reunites, with a new beginning on the horizon.
