Fast Getaway: A Thrilling Action Movie

Plot Summary

Sixteen-year-old Nelson Potter is part of a bank-robbing team with his father Sam. Nelson scouts targets for the group and acts as a hostage in their endeavors. Their accomplices include Tony and Lilly, the latter being a skilled martial artist and Sam’s current love interest.

Wanting Sam all to herself, Lilly persuades him to cut Nelson from the group, but Sam declines. Lilly overhears him insulting her, leading to a confrontation where she refuses to give Nelson his share of the money from their latest heist. Nelson ends up subduing her at gunpoint, causing Tony and Lilly to leave the group.

The Getaway

After stealing a new getaway car, Sam and Nelson continue on their own. Sam’s goal is to steal enough money to pay for Nelson’s college education, while Nelson sees no issue with robbing banks for a living. During another bank robbery in Utah, Tony and Lilly tip off the police, leading to Sam’s arrest.

Lilly and Tony rush to claim Nelson at the police station, but Lorraine, Nelson’s biological mother, picks him up first. Impressed with her driving skills, Nelson asks for her help in breaking his father out of jail. Discovering the truth about his mother, Nelson feels betrayed by Sam.

The Showdown

Using Nelson’s resources, Sam and Lorraine discover the next target is the Salt Lake City Amphitheater. They race to confront Tony and Lilly, who have already carried out a robbery using Nelson as a hostage. After a series of confrontations, the situation escalates leading to a dramatic climax where Tony and Lilly are defeated, and Nelson needs medical attention.

In the end, Sam, Nelson, and Lorraine set off on a road trip to Canada, jokingly discussing their next bank robbery plans.
