At the airport in El Paso, Texas, five U.S. Army sergeants meet up with Major Paul Hackett, the leader of the clandestine Zombie Unit who are Sergeants Larry McRose, Buckman Atwater, Charles Biddle, Declan Coker and Luther Fry composed of soldiers reported to be killed in action and on temporary assignment under Hackett for the duration of a secret mission.

The Plot Unfolds

Jack Benteen, a tough Texas Ranger, refuses a bribe from his best friend turned drug trafficker, Cash Bailey. When Bailey sets up an ambush that leaves Benteen’s friend, Sheriff Hank Pearson, dead, Benteen teams up with the Zombie Unit to track down Bailey.

The Showdown Begins

As they cross the border into Mexico, Benteen’s girlfriend Sarita joins the group. They confront Bailey during an Independence Day festival, only to discover that Major Hackett is actually working with Bailey. A massive gunfight ensues, leading to the demise of many involved.

The Conclusion

In a final duel, Benteen faces off against Bailey and ultimately takes him down. Benteen strikes a deal with Bailey’s right-hand man, Lupo, to hand over the local drug business in exchange for a safe exit with Sarita. As they walk away, a new chapter begins for Benteen and Sarita.
