In 1991, Mogadishu, Somalia’s capital, is under Siad Barre’s government but threatened by rebels led by Mohamed Farrah Aidid. It is revealed that North Korean intelligence officer Tae Jun-ki orchestrated the robbery, causing friction between the Korean diplomats.
As civil war erupts, both embassies find themselves trapped and struggling to leave the country. Sin-seong’s wife is in danger, and multiple failed attempts to reach the airport ensue.
