The tale unfolds with the journey of Ethan Kendrick, entrusted in his youth by the mysterious Jack to safeguard the Yuh Yi Joo, an individual with the ability to transform an Imoogi chosen by heaven into a Celestial Dragon, from a malevolent Imoogi known as “Buraki”. This malevolent force had been thwarted from seizing the power in the past by the former incarnations of Ethan and Jack.

Jack bequeaths Ethan a medallion once possessed by Haram, Ethan’s previous incarnation, and discloses that the reborn Yuh Yi Joo is Sarah Daniels, whom Ethan must locate in Los Angeles.

The Celestial Dragon then takes Sarah into its being and ascends to the heavens, as Jack appears briefly before Ethan and then fades away. With a final farewell to Jack, Ethan sets off into the desert.
