Don’t Look Now… We’re Being Shot At! Full Movie Free: A WWII Adventure of Escape and Survival

Set against the backdrop of World War II, Don’t Look Now… We’re Being Shot At! Full Movie Free offers an exciting tale of courage, deception, and escape. This gripping film centers on a group of RAF aviators who must evade capture by the Germans after their bomber is shot down over Paris in 1942. As they navigate through the dangerous landscape of occupied France, they rely on the help of local Resistance fighters and a series of unlikely allies. The story is a thrilling race against time as they attempt to escape the clutches of the German military.

RAF Bomber Shot Down: The Fateful Beginning of Their Escape

On a warm summer day in 1942, a lost RAF bomber strays over Paris and is shot down by German flak. The survivors, all members of the British Royal Air Force, are forced to parachute into enemy territory. Their mission is clear: rendezvous in the Turkish baths at the Grand Mosque of Paris. Only three of them manage to evade capture. Sir Reginald, a seasoned officer, lands in the Vincennes Zoo, where a friendly zookeeper helps him by providing civilian clothes. He then makes his way to the secret meeting point.

Escaping German Pursuers: Allies in Unexpected Places

Meanwhile, Peter Cunningham lands on the rooftop of a house painter named Augustin Bouvet. The painter and his family, with the help of a local puppet show operator, Juliette, hide Cunningham from the Germans. Bouvet agrees to head to the baths on Cunningham’s behalf, while Cunningham stays out of sight. Alan MacIntosh, another member of the crew, lands on the roof of the Opéra Garnier in Paris, where he is reluctantly aided by the chief conductor, Stanislas Lefort. Lefort agrees to make his way to the baths in MacIntosh’s place.

As the RAF crew members and their helpers scramble to avoid detection, the German military under Major Achbach is closing in on them, determined to capture or eliminate the fugitives. Their escape plan hinges on the secrecy of the rendezvous and the assistance of their newfound allies.

The Dangerous Rendezvous: A Plan Unfolds

After the crew members and their allies gather at the Turkish baths, Lefort leaves Reginald and Bouvet to arrange their pickup of MacIntosh. However, Major Achbach has discovered Lefort’s involvement with the fugitives and arrests him as he heads back to the opera house. In the meantime, Reginald and Bouvet, disguised in stolen German uniforms, head to the Opera to fetch MacIntosh. Their mission is further complicated by a bombing attempt against a German SS commander, but in the chaos, they are helped by members of the French Resistance working among the opera staff.

Despite their efforts, the group misses a crucial train that would have taken them to Meursault, a town near the demarcation line between occupied and free France. Here, they could have crossed into the French Free Zone. However, an unfortunate mistake leads to Peter Cunningham’s capture, and he is arrested by the Germans and taken to headquarters in Meursault.

Escaping from Meursault: A Dangerous Journey

As the group struggles to regroup and make their way to safety, they encounter Sister Marie-Odile, a nun secretly aiding the French Resistance. Bouvet and Lefort are sent ahead to Meursault, where they plan to hide in a hotel owned by Juliette’s aunt. However, their cover is nearly blown when they run into Major Achbach, who is investigating Cunningham’s whereabouts.

In a desperate attempt to escape, Bouvet and Lefort disguise themselves as members of the German military police. They try to make their way across the demarcation line but are unmasked and taken back to Meursault. Meanwhile, Reginald and MacIntosh are meant to be smuggled out of the town hidden in two wine casks by Sister Marie-Odile. Unfortunately, a miscommunication sends the casks into the German headquarters’ cellar, where the two aviators are discovered.

Setting a Fire: A Bold Plan for Freedom

In a last-ditch effort to free their comrades, the aviators set fire to the German headquarters. The resulting chaos allows them to escape with the help of Marie-Odile, who drives a horse-drawn cart to transport them out of the city. Their journey leads them to a secluded gliding club, where they plan to use gliders to reach the Free Zone. However, their pursuers, led by Major Achbach, are not far behind.

The Final Flight: A Narrow Escape

As the fugitives prepare to take off, Achbach’s forces close in, hoping to bring them down before they can escape. In a tense moment, a cross-eyed German soldier accidentally foils the attempt to shoot down the gliders, allowing the aviators and their helpers to make their escape into the sky. Their final flight to safety is a breathtaking moment, filled with the tension of the narrowest of escapes.
