The story revolves around the charismatic criminal Dobermann (Vincent Cassel) and his gang of brutal robbers, led by his beautiful deaf girlfriend Nat the Gypsy (Monica Bellucci). Following a complex and brutal bank robbery, the gang finds themselves being hunted by the Paris police, particularly the sadistic cop Christini (Tchéky Karyo) who is determined to capture Dobermann at any cost.

The Hunt for Dobermann

After capturing gang member Olivier, who is also known as Sonia the transvestite, Christini forces Olivier to help him catch the rest of the gang by threatening his baby’s life. With no choice, Olivier leads the police to a party in a disco where the gang members are celebrating. A gunfight ensues, resulting in multiple arrests but some members, including Dobermann, manage to escape.

Revenge and Retaliation

As Christini kills one of Dobermann’s friends and abducts Nat with intentions to rape her, Dobermann decides to take matters into his own hands. He pursues Christini in a stolen ambulance, overtakes him, and violently confronts him on the road. In a swift act of revenge, Dobermann grinds Christini’s head on the road while driving at high speed, leaving him heavily disfigured and presumably dying.

The surviving gang members realize Sonia’s betrayal and bury her, prompting Olivier to abandon his transvestite persona. As they make their escape in a convertible, they are pursued by a police helicopter, highlighting the ongoing danger they face.
