Harvey Cheyne, the son of American tycoon Frank Burton Cheyne, leads a privileged yet isolated life. After being suspended from his boarding school due to his behavior, Frank decides to take Harvey on a business trip to Europe. Rescued by fisherman Manuel Fidello, Harvey is brought aboard the fishing schooner We’re Here, captained by Disko Troop. Despite Harvey’s claims of wealth, Captain Troop is skeptical and insists on Harvey working alongside the crew.
