Plot Summary

Eight months after the events of Re-Animator, doctors Herbert West and Dan Cain find themselves working as medics in the midst of a brutal Peruvian civil war. With ample casualties to work on, they have the opportunity to experiment with West’s re-animation reagent. After their medical tent is attacked, they return to Arkham, Massachusetts, to resume their former roles as doctors and continue West’s research.

Using body parts obtained from various sources, West discovers that his reagent can re-animate body parts independently. His ambition grows as he sets out to create a complete living being from assorted body parts.
