Encouraged by Hiro, Suzu decides to explore the popular virtual world known as “U.” Upon entering, she is transformed into a stunning avatar named “Bell,” a name that reflects the English translation of her own. Thanks to the AI engine’s biometric analysis, Bell possesses a unique charm, complete with freckles. As she immerses herself in this new world, Suzu discovers her ability to sing once more. With Hiro acting as her manager and producer, Bell quickly rises to fame on U’s music charts, earning the affectionate nickname “Belle,” which means “beautiful” in French.

The Encounter with The Dragon

During one of Belle’s electrifying concerts, a formidable user known as “The Dragon” makes an appearance, evading the Justices—a vigilante group led by the self-righteous Justin. The Justices accuse The Dragon of disrupting the peace in U and plan to expose his true identity using a specialized program. Intrigued by The Dragon’s mysterious persona, Suzu begins her quest to uncover more about him. She learns that he is admired by children, who view him as a hero. As fate would have it, Suzu meets The Dragon and his five guardian AIs, and a bond begins to form between them.

In the real world, Ruka confides in Suzu about her feelings for Kamishin, and Suzu takes it upon herself to help them express their emotions. However, the virtual world is not without its dangers. Justin captures Belle and threatens to reveal her identity unless she cooperates. Just in time, The Dragon’s AIs rescue her, but their intervention leads Justin and his group to The Dragon’s castle, which they subsequently burn down. The Dragon escapes, leaving Suzu desperate to find him.
