A Summer to Remember: A Heartwarming Tale

Unwinding in Fiji

Jessica Tucker, a widow and doctor, is trying to juggle work and family. She takes a vacation to bond with her daughter, Jessica books a stay at a resort in Fiji and strikes up a friendship with Will, the charming owner of the resort. As Jessica and Will spend more time together, she begins to relax and starts to wonder if this island paradise can give her the life – and love – she’s always hoped for.

Striking a Balance

Widowed Dr. Jessica Martin, an ER physician at Riverside Hospital in Portland, Oregon, has contemplated going into private general practice to be able to set her own hours instead of the sixty hour weeks she currently works, all in an effort to spend more time with her shy teenage daughter, Ava Martin. As Jessica and Ava are about to head off on a vacation to Yanuca Cove Resort in Fiji, a place close to Jessica’s heart as where she once lived, where she and her now deceased husband Greg met and got married, and where they had once contemplated making their home, Jessica learns that she is in the running for the soon to be vacated position of attending ER physician, which is a prestigious promotion, but would increase rather than decrease her work hours. Jessica and Ava both have an agenda for their Fiji vacation, ticking off the boxes of things to do, to spend time together and break out of their collective shells.

Will runs Yanuca Cove resort with a Fijian local couple and their daughter. Against his own rule of thumb ‘don’t date clients’, he takes a personal interest in Dr. Jessica Martin, a widowed ER physician at Riverside Hospital in Portland, Oregon, he promised her somewhat shy teen daughter Ava Martin a quality time holiday where Jessica met her father, but is bugged by a promotion option and buddy Karen’s high pregnancy. They eagerly agree to set out horse riding and so son with handsome surgeon Dr. Trevor Copeland, but his research work never sleeps, so Jessica keeps spending more time with Will, whose relaxed life style choice fascinates the workaholic, who would be just right for the doctor vacancy.
