Set in 1999, the story follows Na Bo-ra (Kim Yoo-jung), a spirited seventeen-year-old high school student. Her world changes when her best friend, Yeon-du (Roh Yoon-seo), decides to stay in Korea instead of pursuing heart surgery in the US, all because of her newfound love for a boy named Baek Hyun-jin (Park Jung-woo).
